Our hardworking year 12 students are at the finish line of a big year!

Congratulations to all of them for reaching this huge milestone and to all the parents and carers who have cheered and supported them from the sidelines.

Next step: their school results.

To save you searching, we have compiled some of the key dates for the release of QCS test grades, Year 12 results, OPs and FPs below.

(These dates are all courtesy of our friends at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority, the statutory body that oversees the distribution of results.)

Wednesday 13 November 2019: QCS test results

Many students sat the two-day Queensland Core Skills test in early September. The QCS test contributes information for the calculation of Overall Positions (OPs) and Field Positions (FPs), which are used to select students for tertiary entrance.  From 9am on 13/11/19 students will be able to access their individual QCS Test grade (ranging from A to E) in their learning account on the Student Connect website. They can log in here using their 10 digit Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) and password. If they’ve forgotten their login details, find help here.

Saturday 14 December 2019: QCE, OP and FP results

From 9am on 14/12/19 all results for the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), OPs and FPs will be available in student learning accounts on the Student Connect website. (Login here using their 10 digit LUI and password.)

Most parents are aware of OPs but might not know much about FPs. FPs are used by tertiary institutions to help differentiate between students with the same OP. A student may receive up to five FPs depending on what subjects they studied.

Monday 16 December: Hard copy of results start to arrive in mail

Students will receive their Senior Education Profile in the mail from Monday 16 December (they’ll be posted the previous Friday). Depending on the student’s circumstances and preferences their profile may include a QCE, Tertiary Entrance Statement, Senior Statement or Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA).
