There’s no doubt COVID-19 has thrown us all many curveballs! But education organisations are moving quickly to adapt their resources and support so they’re effective in our new, contactless world.

myfuture is Australia’s National Career Information Service which is managed by Education Services Australia – a national not-for-profit company owned by state, territory and Australian Government education ministers.

They provide a lot of information and articles to help you start the conversation with your teen about “the world of work”.

They’ve produced an information sheet for parents and another for students, with embedded links to tools to help your child remotely:

  • explore their interests, skills and values
  • discover occupations related to their favourite learning areas
  • search for courses
  • learn about occupations and industries
  • write a resume and cover letter.
